Who We Are

Nomis can trace it's roots back over 30 years to the late 1980s. Originally a pioneer in what was then a technological revolution - Computer Aided Design - Nomis Engineering was one of the very first companies in the UK to utilise AutoCAD in the field of mechanical engineering. It continues today to provide design consultancy to the Nuclear and Aerospace industries. 

Naturally, engineering is our blood - so when our director, a second generation engineer, became involved in AutoStore™ he knew that ASRS systems would represent the future of warehousing. 

Conveniently situated just north of Manchester, we are poised to provide experienced project managers and specialist teams of mechanical and electrical installers for warehouse automation projects, both around the UK and Internationally. 

Our dedicated installers have a wealth of experience in the fast moving world of intralogistics and material handling, some of our installers have over a decade of experience in working on a vast array of equipment from some of the foremost manufacturers. 

Our aim as a company is to become a organisation synonymous with safety, professionalism and efficiency through regular training and external auditing.
